The Senior Director of Sales & Marketing is responsible for building upon and leading a high performing team of individuals that are responsible for sales and marketing activities. Will drive new business sales by utilizing a successful history of sales strategies excellent team leadership and managerial skills and a passion for high impact performance to develop the right environment, processes and team that will foster sustained revenue expansion, market share and talent growth in IFE global market.
Duties and Responsibilities:
? Create an environment for the Sales and Marketing teams that cultivate successful customer relationships that focus on mutual benefit, maximize the partnership potential, and drive to consistently meet or exceed customer expectations
? Establish and maintain processes and procedures for the Sales and Marketing teams
? Track and maintain reporting on sales opportunities
? Create cross-organizational awareness of competitive changes in the marketplace
? Lead pursuits for key customer accounts
? Visits customers on a regular basis
? Review proposals for consistency and accuracy created by the sales representatives
? Sales and revenue focus with in-depth knowledge and experience in varying sales strategy with excellent closing and negotiation skills
? Leverage metrics to make changes in business strategies
? Ensure sales strategy collaboration with other departments
Preferred Qualifications and/or Education:
? Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
? 12+ years of experience working in Sales and Marketing
? 9+ years of experience working in a Management role
? 5-7 years of experience establishing, maintaining and fully owning department budget
? Good understanding of the IFE competitive landscape, products and systems
? Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook)
? Strong sense of personal accountability and responsibility
? High degree of passion and perseverance
? Strong written and verbal English communication skills
? Strong at public speaking
? Good Customer Relationship skills
? Must be proactive, meticulous, organized, and detail oriented
? Ability to efficiently resolve problems in a positive manner
? Ability to accomplish multiple tasks
? Ability to work independently, with minimal direction
? Ability to effectively and positively lead teams to complete tasks in a timely manner
? Ability to use discretion and independent judgment when making decisions on behalf of the company
