Job Description

In the UK, Safran Seats specialises solely in the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide body aircraft, with industrial and engineering teams in Cwmbran and Newport, Wales and Brackley, England.
Working as part of the growing aftermarket engineering team to investigate and create concept solutions for customer technical enquiries and to ensure that all issues are closed efficiently and effectively. In this job role, proactively supporting the customer is the primary function to ensure that the engineering service levels provided maintains customer satisfaction for the entire SSGB portfolio.
Key responsibilities:
Identify product improvements and service offerings that enhance customer
satisfaction and business margins.
Minimise impact of product failure to our customers.
Minimise warranty & rework costs.
Provide a daily technical query/answer support service to our customers (if
required).
Act as prime technical point of contact with our aftermarket customers.
Provide ‘on-wing' support when necessary to customers
To support the customers in service operation, maintain regular communications
and resolve all customer concerns within planned timescales.
Provide technical support and expert knowledge for all SSGB products.
Monitor and analyse customer / product reliability metrics.
Log, investigate and coordinate root-cause analysis reviews to understand cause
of in service failures.
Plan and manage testing to validate redesigns and the implementation of
solutions in service.
Support lessons learned activities for NPI programmes.
