In the UK, Safran Seats specialises solely in the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide body aircraft, with industrial and engineering teams in Cwmbran and Newport, Wales and Brackley, England.
The central objective of the role is to lead a team of BoM controllers and to manage the correct action and disposition of
engineering design data from the PLM system to the MRP System while ensuring the accuracy of data.
Key responsibilities and duties:
To manage day to day engineering data transfer from the engineering design team into the ERP System.
To coordinate internally with the design and EPL team, the receipt and proper dispositioning of engineering data into the MRP system as required.
To verify accuracy and content of engineering design data before entry into the MRP system.
To ensure team's priorities are assessed and deployed appropriately on a daily basis, in support of timely engineering data release into the MRP system.
To process ECR's, updating item data and bills of material from all business units (SGB/SFR/CCE) in the ERP system.
BoM data entry from drawings in the ERP system.
BoM data entry from service bulletins on the ERP system.
BoM data entry from provisional data for all business units (SGB/SFR/CCE) in the ERP system.
BoM data from stakeholders' requests.
Ensure all parts are released under the correct project code.
Working closely with all stakeholders to provide guidance on part attribute and BoM structure requirements.

Job Requirements
Level 3 qualifications (NVQ / BTEC, National certificate / Diploma),
OR suitable experience acquired by working in an Engineering or
Operations role - Essential
At least 5 years experience in an engineering or Operations
background - Essential
Previous detailed working experience in engineering data entry
and control within MRP systems - Desirable
Experience in engineering data requirements - Desirable
