Job Description

Objective:

The Inventory Control Analyst focuses on routine tasks and supports the inventory management process under the guidance of higher-level analysts or supervisors. The Inventory Control Analyst works directly within the supply chain while supporting other departments to ensure all operational processes provide a high degree of inventory accuracy as it relates to inventory management. Analysist will align controls, maintain adherence to policies and procedures, and compliance to government regulations. The Inventory Control Analyst will follow, established plans, policies, training programs, systems and procedures to optimize inventory. The Inventory Control Analyst will also take full ownership for Cycle Count and Physical and Virtual Inventory activities. Analysist will serve as the Point of Contact (POC) to facilitate the communication and data collection between all critical stakeholders within the organization. This position is responsible for optimizing inventory accuracy by overseeing transactions, processes, systems, cadence, and analytics to drive cross-functional collaboration to improve overall inventory.

Authorities:

The Inventory Control Analyst has the authority to adjust inventory according to thresholds set by the department manager and group policies. They will schedule physical inventory counts.

Complementary Description

Main Function Responsibilities:

A) Performs data entry and inventory records maintenance.

B) Assists with inventory audits and generating basic reports.

C) Schedules physical inventory counts and leads QRQC process on Inventory discrepancies.

D) Monitors and reports Safety Stock levels through monthly summaries and demand analysis.

E) Facilitates communication to ensure proper handling of scrap, termination, and obsolescence.

F) Creates and reviews reports to identify trends or issues and to support or initiate actions or adjustments

G) Collaborate cross functionally, to answer questions related to inventory and operational processes from all departments

H) Performs inventory adjustments according to thresholds set by department manager.

I) Assist in implementing policies and procedures for accurate inventory tracking Identify and drive root cause corrective action for inventory discrepancies

J) Fulfill other analytical duties as instructed.

Job Requirements

Qualification Requirements:

A. Education & Qualification

• Prior experience in inventory management or related fields Associate's degree or equivalent experience

B. Work Experience - Technical knowledge

• Have a strong understanding of Inventory Control procedures.

• Excellent math skills, strong communication and organizational skills.

• Have experience using Microsoft Software; Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and/or Database related programs; Intermediate skills with Excel.

C. Professional Skills

• Experience in a customer related area or proven ability to work well with internal and external customers is required

• Must be proficient in job-related computer activities.

• Must have proven communication skills.

• Must have the ability to generate written communication and to operate required office equipment.

• Ability to read and review written communication.

• Speech and hearing abilities that allow individual to communicate clearly and distinctly in English.

D. Behavioral Skills

• Must have ability to focuses on routine tasks and supports the inventory management process under the guidance of higher-level analysts.

• Must have ability to maintain multiple tasks simultaneously, including the ability to manage assignments from more than customer during any given day.

• Must have the ability to think strategically and solve problems independently.

• Must be proficient in job-related computer activities.

• Must have a keen sense of priority and the ability to assess priorities as they apply to each program.
