What will I be doing?

Gloucester's Site Services Contract Performance Controller performs a vital role at Safran Landing Systems UK Ltd, supporting the business' ability to define standard practices and processes concerning the monitoring of the Service Level Agreement (SLA), performance & Health & Safety of both current & new suppliers.

The role will also support other initiatives across site whilst maintaining good communication links with both Internal & External suppliers & stakeholders. The Contract Performance Controller role is fundamental to ensuring the introduction of new ways of working within a safe environment that support the future growth of the supplier base & business.

Principle Responsibilities:

• Health and Safety

• Review Risk Assessments & Methods Statement (RAMS) whilst Contractors deliver activities on Site.

• Review, monitor & record HSE performance of all Contractors working on Site.

• Conduct duty of care visits to waste management supplier locations.

• Produce and review risk assessments, safe system of works and lift plans for the Site Services Department.

• Conduct ergonomic assessments for the members of the Site Services team and the activities/tasks they carry out.

• Maintain the COSHH register for the Site Services Department.

• Act in a proactive manner to avoid health and safety related incidents.

• Be expected to respond to any events requiring an immediate response such as investigations, inspections or audits for the Site Services Department.

• Raise and close deviations and near misses.

Contract Control

• Preventative Planned Maintenance (PPM) schedules for operations that ensure equipment is robust & able to meet demands of Plant requirements.

• To liaise with Site Services Supervision to agree an achievable predictive & preventative plan for the team.

• Progress and support CMMS system by use of work orders, inventory control, predictive & preventative maintenance.

• Update & maintain a full suite of KPI's.

• To interface with internal and external customers as appropriate regarding issues.

• Raising of relevant purchase order requisitions.

• Liaise with Total Facilities Management (TFM) supplier on work orders and work completion.

• Contribute to the outsourcing contracts content.

• Instigate any cost reduction initiatives.

• Conduct Service Level Agreements (SLA ‘s) including any Specifications.

• Assess Quality, HSE and Business Performance of Outsourced Activities.

Job Requirements

What do you need from me?

Skills/Experince

• Has experience of working in a role that has a focus on Health and Safety, ideally within an industry environment

• Has evidence of current Health and Safety training – IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications are desirable but not essential

• Experience of managing suppliers and contractors

• Knowledge of Purchasing processes & procedures

• Project management skills

• COSHH awareness

• Ergonomic assessment qualification (training can be provided)

• Proficient user of Microsoft applications
