Responsible for all aspects and coordination of warranty, including product warranties, applications and claims.
Responsible for all aspects and coordination of retrofit management.
Complementary Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Establishes and maintains effective professional relationships with customers through constant communication.
Ensures KAM and PSM personnel are kept abreast of any pertinent information that is exchanged with customers in relation to warranty claims and retrofit reporting, etc.
Organize and maintain file system for projects, correspondence and other records.
Process warranty claims with OEM and customer based on contractual agreements.
Invoice and credit based on warranty contract obligations and approvals.
Maintain warranty log/database.
Improve and develop warranty processes/procedures/policies, as needed.
Responsible for day-to-day operations related to retrofit, including but not limited to: prioritization, schedule changes, planning, coordinating with supply chain, operations, engineering and IT.
Responsible for contacting operators to obtain their retrofit schedules to be able to forecast customer removals, loans and other customer needs.
Attend and represent Safran in conference calls with operators.
Be aware and knowledgeable of any documentation changes, SB, CMM, AD, etc. in order to communicate efficiently with internal and external customers.
Maintain database and key performance indicators for tracking of retrofit project progress and performance.
Other duties may be assigned, as required.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree or 5+ years in aviation related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in customer support, quoting and production a plus; strong knowledge of aviation community and requirements associated with industry.
Familiarity/knowledge of the customers related to Safran Electronics & Defense, Avionics USA, LLC.
High level – Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Knowledge of SAP a plus.
Knowledge of professional practices, sources of information, and rules and regulations and organization required (internal training and business familiarization implied).
