Job Description
Safran Cabin is a world leader in fully integrated Galleys, Lavatories and Electrical Inserts, catering systems and cargo equipment.
Herborn is the city where Safran Cabin is located in Germany; it is at 50 min from Frankfurt.
The Electrical Inserts Engineering Director is in charge of :
• Daily management of personnel, tasks and projects in Product Development or In Service;
• Coordinate and control the product development process to ensure timely completion and budget adherence;
• Drive operational excellence in Engineering;
• Contribute to achieve and maintain the Product Roadmap for Electrical Inserts together with internal stakeholders;
• Add and/or strengthen knowledge and skills in the Engineering team
• Manage external Engineering services suppliers ;
• Estimate the time required for new product development, assess the team capacity and capability and report status to programs;

Job Requirements
8 to 10 years of experience in a technical department
At least three years of experience in leading a technical team
Strong experience in project management
Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Industrial Design Engineering.
Knowledge on Certification is a plus
