Job Summary:

Assists with duties associated with the stocking and issuing of materials used in the construction of aircraft

production programs following company procedures. This position reports to the Stockroom Supervisor or

Stockroom Manager.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Unloading carts and verifying quantities received per work order, periphery inspection of materialfor damage, transferring material to picking shelves and proper receiving in MRP system (M3).

  • Filling Work Orders; identifying materials requested and pulling material from stock.

  • Input transactions into M3, organize and maintain accurate inventory records, complete cyclecounts.

  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment.

  • Must carefully handle materials and manufactured parts to ensure the integrity and quality is notcompromised by handling.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Some stockroom related experience preferred but not required for entry level position. Aerospace manufacturing preferred

  • Ability to work independently and follow verbal and written instructions

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Able to read, write and speak English

  • Basic math skills

  • Good manual dexterity

  • Previous forklift experience and certification is preferred, C&D Zodiac forklift certification required within first 30 days of employment

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Physical Demands and Working Environment:

  • Standing, sitting and walking throughout the workday

  • Work will be done in a production shop environment which may include exposure to noise, dust, fumes and carbon fiber

  • Possible skin and inhaled contact with various sealants, paints, adhesives or other chemicals.

  • Proper PPE is defined and required for specific work area.

  • Industry standard safety equipment is provided by the company and specific notice is posted in areas where safety equipment is required.
