Job Description

Responsible for all or a major portion of processing operations in a plant. Oversees production operations (shop floor management, workforce management, and flow disruption management), production plan scheduling and workload capacity. Manages and supervises the work of manufacturing production disciplines in the Operations function. Performs professional or management work regularly across multiple Manufacturing disciplines.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Manages and ensures all quality related items are complete and documented so that established quality standards are met.

• Leads cost reduction efforts and process improvements to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness.

• Leads scheduling to ensure that operations run according to established production schedules.

• Leads the sequencing of work, such as build and delivery, to ensure smooth operations and optimal use of resources.

• Manages materials and logistics problem resolution to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations.

• Establishes performance objectives and leads cell performance and productivity.

• Leads production innovation, including additive manufacturing, to enhance production capabilities.

• Meet customers' requirements and business objectives related to safety, quality, on time deliveries, costs and inventory in alignment with Site's goal deployment initiatives

Job Requirements

Required competences:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Materials, Supply Chain, Engineering or Finance. Master degree desire.

Experience: Shall have applicable and detailed work experience (4 years minimum) in the following areas: Manufacturing/Assembly Operations, Quality, Engineering (Design or Manufacturing), Materials/Procurement,

Certifications: Certified Greenbelt, Blackbelt certification desirable.

Languages: English (Advance), French (basic) knowledge desirable.
